After 2 years of hard work and anticipation, and 11 years of dreaming, I am relieved, honored, and delighted to announce the official birth of the PMI Egypt Chapter!
The Egyptian Government issued the certification of incorporation for the non-profit association fully aligned with PMI's charter and bylaws this week, marking the start of a long term relationship between the chapter, PMI members, and the Project Management Community in Egypt at large.
Given all the change and projects that we Egyptians anticipate delivering and supporting over the next few years, The PMI Egypt Chapter provides a much needed bridge of knowledge, international best practice sharing, and international standard adoption.
This milestone could have never been achieved without the efforts of the steering committee (now board) members Ahmed Hassan Hussein, Qusay Salama, Tarek Abuelnaga Rafik El-Raheb, Walid Gamil Ismail, Marwa Wassim, Fady Ramzy Aziz, Nader Soliman, Wael Bassiony, and Bahgat El Hossamy, as well as the efforts and support of the wonderful staff at the Project Management Institute.
This is the time to volunteer with the PMI Egypt Chapter, become a chapter member on www.pmi.org and start making magic happen for your profession, yourself, and the community around you.
